Jim Deragon

Jim Deragon was a dedicated Engineering Technician at 3M in Hutchinson for 39 years, where he was a well-known figure, retiring in 2008. He was a graduate of Dunwoody College of Technology and an enrolled tribal member of the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Tribe of Chippewa.

In his personal time, Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, rock collecting, and trap shooting. He had a passion for technology, building computers for his children. In retirement, he loved smoking meats, grilling, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

He was also an ordained minister and served as a trusted bible study leader for his faith community.
