In 2020, he and his children launched the Hopper-Belmont Foundation, which recognizes and supports exceptional early-career cancer investigators.
John is the Founding Co-Chair of both the GI Cancers Alliance and the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) Rare Cancer Coalition.
