John Lavisky

John Lavisky was a dedicated public servant for the City of Lighthouse Point for over 20 years, serving as the City Administrator. Before his administrative role, he had a distinguished 21-year career in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Chief Master Sergeant.

Outside of his official duties, John was described as a simple man who enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, which included his wife, three children, and seven grandchildren. His favorite places to visit were Disney World and St. Augustine.

He was a retired military man, trained to be a leader, and was described as being as "steady as a rock" by his son.
