Jon Mayes

Jon Mayes is the CEO of High Plains Power, having been promoted after a decade as the companys CFO. A graduate of Westminster University and a self-described "data guy at heart," his professional background spans nonprofits, manufacturing, and data analytics. He has a track record of enhancing financial reporting and leading major software transitions.

Born and raised in Wyoming, Jon is deeply passionate about his home state. He and his wife are raising two children, and as a family, they enjoy traveling, exploring Wyomings mountains, and spending quality time with family and friends. He is committed to the community-focused cooperative business model.

He is a "Wyoming boy" dedicated to ensuring local cooperatives can create quality jobs to help future generations stay in the state.
