Julian Weselek is the CEO and Co-Founder of Tourlane, a service for planning and booking personalized travel experiences. A graduate of The London School of Economics and Political Science, he previously developed startups at Rocket Internet before founding Tourlane in 2016 to innovate the travel industry.
Outside of his direct role, Julian is an angel investor in HealthTech and TravelTech startups. His professional interests include leading venture capital firms like Sequoia Capital and publications such as The Economist, indicating a passion for global business and the startup ecosystem. One of his personal passions is reportedly going on safari in Tanzania.
He co-founded Tourlane with his childhood friend, Julian Stiefel, after they were both inspired by their personal travel experiences.
