Kenny Alexopoulos

Kenny Alexopoulos is the Chief Operating Officer of the Oklahoma Aquarium, an institution he helped build from the ground up since 2000. A graduate of Texas A&M with a dual degree in marine biology and fisheries, he led the in-house design and construction of all its exhibits.

Outside of his operational duties, Kenny is a passionate artist and sculptor. He personally created the iconic bull shark statue at the aquariums entrance, painting murals within the facility as well. He even carved a personal message to his son into the base of his signature sculpture.

Before settling in Oklahoma, his early career included working on fishing boats in Alaska and hatching king penguin eggs.
