Outside of business, Lord Cruddas is a significant philanthropist, having founded the Peter Cruddas Foundation to support disadvantaged youth. He is also a major figure in UK politics as a life peer, a co-founder of the Vote Leave campaign, and a prominent donor to the Conservative Party. He enjoys golf.
