Luzia Heu is an Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Social Science at Utrecht University. She is a cross-cultural researcher specializing in loneliness, its causes, and its connection to social norms. She earned her PhD from the University of Groningen and primarily utilizes qualitative methods in her work.
Originally from Vienna, Austria, Luzia is passionate about making her research accessible to the public. She has created a video project with personal stories from five countries and hosts a podcast called "Connected by Loneliness" to share insights and foster connection.
