Mark Petty

Mark Petty is a seasoned energy executive with over 40 years of experience in municipal utilities. A graduate of MIT, he now serves as the Director of Energy & Supply Services for the Missouri Public Utility Alliance, where he manages power supply services and provides technical expertise to member utilities.

Growing up in Detroit, Mark was a dedicated athlete, playing baseball, football, and basketball. His passion for engineering began in childhood when he fixed a broken television to watch hockey games, a moment that defined his future career path. He is also passionate about community engagement, having collaborated with local students.

His father was a college classmate of Martin Luther King, Jr. at Morehouse University.
