A University of Florida graduate, he has unique expertise in tree risk assessment, wildfire risk reduction, and mangrove management. He has served as the Urban Forester for two major municipalities: Fort Lauderdale and Miami Beach.
Outside of work, Mark is a family man who enjoys supporting his daughters band events and watching high school football. Having grown up in Fort Myers, he has a deep-seated appreciation for Floridas native wildlife and ecosystems, often sharing photos of his observations while traveling for work.
Interesting fact: His lifelong passion for arboriculture was sparked by growing up in his hometown of Ft. Myers, famously known as the “City of Palms”.
