After his long central banking career, Markus took a few years off for full-time parenting before embarking on his new path in the insurance industry. He is currently based in Sydney, but serves clients for his New Zealand-based firm on both sides of the Tasman.
He transitioned from managing Australias foreign reserve assets in Europe to a commercial insurance broker in Australasia.
