Mary Needham

Mary Needham is the Development Coordinator at the First Amendment Coalition, where she supports fundraising efforts through grant writing and donor relations. She has a background in nonprofit development and holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science and Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.

Passionate about building community power and creating an equitable future, Mary was actively involved in community service and advocacy during college. Her participation in Cal Mock Trial and The Berkeley Project highlights her long-standing commitment to legal advocacy and community engagement.

She earned a promotion from Development Associate to Coordinator within her first year at the First Amendment Coalition.
