Mary Roueche, Ed.D.

Dr. Mary Roueche is the HR Director of Talent Development at Rock Hill Schools, where she leads recruitment, onboarding, and professional growth initiatives. With an Ed. D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina, she applies her deep academic background to cultivate and support teaching talent throughout the district.

Mary is passionate about empowering educators through collaborative learning and equitable practices. She actively engages in leadership cohorts to hone her skills and believes that supporting teachers is essential to improving student outcomes. She is a former Teacher of the Year and an advocate for educators everywhere.

Her doctoral dissertation focused on using self-regulation and goal-setting cycles to develop student self-efficacy.
