Dr. Matthew Pike is the Senior Manager of Indigenous Relations for North America at Rio Tinto, focusing on corporate strategy and reconciliation. A Nunatsiavut Inuk, his career in the natural resource sector is supported by a PhD from the University of Guelph and a Master of Jurisprudence in Energy Law.
Originally from Happy Valley–Goose Bay, Labrador, Matthew is deeply committed to Indigenous prosperity and self-determination. In his spare time, he is an aspiring athlete and has a background that includes international experience with the Arctic Councils Indigenous Peoples Secretariat.
