Mauro Moreno

Mauro Moreno is the Director General of ASST dei Sette Laghi, bringing extensive leadership experience from his previous roles as Health Director at ASST Papa Giovanni XXIII in Bergamo and Ospedale Niguarda in Milan. He earned his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan, specializing in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine.

His professional focus includes strengthening the relationship between hospitals and the community, ensuring healthcare services are increasingly aligned with patient needs. He is also a contract professor of Health Economics and Nursing Management for degree courses in Nursing Sciences and Physiotherapy, demonstrating a passion for medical education and management.

Upon his appointment, he emphasized his commitment to honoring the deep-rooted bond between the hospital and its territory, a relationship built over 850 years of history.
