Michael Niessner

Michael Niessner is the EVP and Chief Technology Officer at Triumph Financial, where he leads the technological vision for modernizing freight transactions. His career has progressed within the company since joining through the acquisition of HubTran, where he was a Principal Engineer. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Outside of his core executive duties, Michael maintains a focus on software architecture and data analytics, underscored by his certifications in Reactive Programming and Computing for Data Analysis. He has a demonstrated history of building and scaling technology teams and solutions, from his time as a partner at a software consultancy to his current role.

He played an instrumental role in building and deploying the TriumphPay payments network following the HubTran acquisition.
