Dr. Mijail Serruya is the Co-Director of the Center for Neurorestoration and an Assistant Professor at Thomas Jefferson University. An alumnus of Brown University, his work focuses on developing wearable and implantable neurotechnology to aid individuals with chronic neurological diseases, stroke, and spinal cord injury.
He leads clinical trials for brain-computer interfaces that enable paralyzed patients to control external devices with their thoughts.
