Mike Dorsch
Login to view DISC.Michael Dorsch is the Lynda S. Welage Collegiate Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan. A board-certified cardiology pharmacist, his research focuses on digital health, mHealth, and developing clinical decision support to improve cardiovascular disease outcomes. He earned his Pharm.D. from Ohio Northern University and an M.S. from the University of Michigan.
Outside of his clinical and academic roles, Michael has a foundational interest in technology and computer programming which began in high school. This passion now fuels his innovative research into how wearable technology and mobile apps can help patients manage chronic conditions by encouraging healthier lifestyle choices like improved diet and increased exercise.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
