Miles Jay

Miles Jay is an Emmy-winning and Grammy-nominated director represented by Smuggler and OPC, specializing in emotionally powerful commercials and music videos. A graduate of Ryerson Universitys film program, his recent work includes directing the first major brand campaign for OpenAIs ChatGPT and spots for Jay-Z and Squarespace.

Originally from Vancouver, he grew up on film sets as the son of a television director. Before pursuing filmmaking, his early aspiration was to be an athlete. He focuses his creative process on finding the "emotional truth" and creating an intuitive, authentic connection with the audience.

His interactive film "Carlys Cafe, " designed to build empathy for autism, was used by the President of Poland in a presentation to the United Nations.
