Nicholas Dunne is a senior finance major at Fairfield Universitys Dolan School of business and an Analyst for the universitys Student Managed Investment Fund. He has gained practical experience through internships in real estate management with Migdal Management and financial planning at Northwestern Mutual, focusing on portfolio analysis and investment strategies.
His passion for investing was sparked at a young age when his father taught him to invest in mutual funds. This early experience motivated his career path. He also studied abroad in Florence, Italy, where he interned with a local company, engaging with both their accounting and marketing departments.
As part of a team, he helped grow the student-controlled portion of Fairfield Universitys endowment fund from $400, 000 to $500, 000.
