Ntando Yola is a community engagement practitioner with over 15 years of experience in HIV and TB clinical research. As the Community Engagement Lead at the University of Cape Towns Clinical Trials Unit, he focuses on involving and empowering citizens. He holds a Master of Public Health from the university.
Outside of his primary role, Ntando is a passionate advocate for HIV prevention research, co-founding several advocacy groups to enhance Africas contribution to global health solutions. He is also a supporter of South African rugby, particularly the Springboks, and follows their success closely.
He is the co-founder of multiple influential advocacy groups, including the Vaccine Advocacy Resource Group (VARG) and Advocacy for Prevention of HIV in Africa.
