As the Community Engagement Lead at the University of Cape Towns Clinical Trials Unit, he focuses on involving and empowering citizens. He holds a Master of Public Health from the university.
Outside of his primary role, Ntando is a passionate advocate for HIV prevention research, co-founding several advocacy groups to enhance Africas contribution to global health solutions. He is also a supporter of South African rugby, particularly the Springboks, and follows their success closely.
He is the co-founder of multiple influential advocacy groups, including the Vaccine Advocacy Resource Group (VARG) and Advocacy for Prevention of HIV in Africa.
