Oliver Ross is the Vicar of Malmesbury Abbey, a historic church where Englands first king, Athelstan, is buried. Before this role, he served as Rector at St Olave Hart Street in London. He is passionate about history, having studied African History, Social Anthropology, and Biblical Studies.
Outside of his clerical duties, Oliver is an insightful speaker with a deep interest in history and its influence on current events. He has previously taught in rural Uganda for two years, demonstrating a commitment to education and service. He is the custodian of Malmesbury Abbey, a 12th-century architectural jewel which is currently on Historic Englands at risk register due to needed repairs.
