Pat Sweeney serves as the Vice President of Power Production at Austin Energy, where he leverages over 30 years of industry experience. He oversees a diverse generation portfolio, including natural gas, solar, and biomass plants. He holds a BBA from The University of Texas at Austin.

Pats strong connection to Texas is highlighted by his educational background, with degrees from both The University of Texas at Austin and the University of Houston-Clear Lake. His long-standing career is focused on powering the Austin community, demonstrating a deep professional commitment to the region.

He leads a team of over 400 employees who manage Austins power generation fleet.
