Patrick Hanley is the Chief and Director of the Cellular Therapy Program at Children’s National Hospital, where he is a leading expert in immunotherapy and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations. An alumnus of Baylor College of Medicine, he has been instrumental in translating research into over 25 clinical trials and overseeing the manufacture of hundreds of cell therapy products.
Outside of the lab, Patrick is an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoys playing soccer, cycling, and is a fan of the Buffalo Bills. During his time at Hartwick College, he was a four-year member of the mens lacrosse team. His other interests include cooking and traveling.
Unique fact: He founded the first Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) facility at Childrens National Hospital in 2013.
