Paul Kessel

Paul Kessel is the co-founder, President, and Chairman of American Portfolio Mortgage Corporation, a company he established in 1996. With over three decades of experience in the banking and mortgage sectors, he is recognized for his strategic leadership and expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments. He attended the University of Louisiana.

Outside of his primary corporate duties, Paul is passionate about fostering the next generation of financial leaders through mentorship. He also dedicates time to contributing to various community initiatives, reflecting a strong commitment to both professional development within his industry and broader community engagement.

He has successfully led his company for nearly 30 years, recently navigating a strategic merger to significantly expand its national lending footprint.
