After a corporate layoff, he founded The Better Mattress, the first Black-owned mattress store in the Rocky Mountain region. An intuitive and responsive leader, he has successfully expanded his self-funded business to multiple locations.
Outside of work, Randy is a Colorado native who co-founded his business with his wife, Linda. He is deeply passionate about the bedding industry, stating, "My heart always is with the bedding industry. " He also enjoys a good cup of coffee and spending time with his wife.
Unique fact: Randy collaborated with manufacturer Therapedic to design his own signature line of mattresses, giving him direct control over product quality.
