Ric Piper

Ric is a highly experienced plc Chairman and Non-Executive Director with over 30 years of experience in finance and leadership, particularly within technology, engineering, and professional services firms. He studied Economics at the University of Cambridge and is described by colleagues as insightful, practical, calm, and proficient.

Outside of his board-level commitments, Ric is passionate about endurance walking and has taken on significant personal challenges. He completed the 865-kilometre Camino de Santiago walk and often shares thoughts on leadership and motivation drawn from his experiences.

For the decade of the 2020s, Ric has set a personal goal to walk the equivalent of 1,000 marathons by averaging 15,000 steps per day.
