Dr. Ricardo Rossello is a scientist, entrepreneur, and former Governor of Puerto Rico with a PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Michigan. His career spans academic research in stem cells, co-founding a biotech firm, and public service. He currently teaches at George Mason Universitys Schar School and is the Chief Vision Officer for the Regenerative Medicine Institute.
Outside of his professional life, Ricardo is an author, having recently published the award-winning book, "The Reformers Dilemma. " A former four-time junior tennis champion in Puerto Rico, he also captained the MIT tennis team. He is passionate about advocating for Puerto Rican statehood and fostering political discourse through the concept of a "Radical Middle. "
Interesting fact: He was the youngest governor in the US when he took office and is the first person in Puerto Ricos history to be elected to a public position via a write-in ballot.
