Rick is an experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager at Nautilus, specializing in consumer goods product development. He is skilled in Solidworks and Pro-Engineer, and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is also a Certified SolidWorks Professional in Mechanical Design.

Outside of his corporate role, Rick has been a self-employed Health, Wellness, and Fitness Consultant for over a decade. This long-term commitment highlights a deep personal and professional passion for the fitness industry, aligning directly with his work at Nautilus.

For over 15 years, Rick has simultaneously managed a corporate engineering career and his own fitness consulting business.
