Rodrigo Ferreira is a Molecular Engineering PhD candidate at the University of Chicago, focusing on neuromorphic computing and spiking neural networks. He is also the co-founder and president of Brazil Quantum, the first quantum computing initiative in his home country, where he has collaborated on projects with major companies.
Outside of his direct research, Rodrigo is passionate about fostering technological ecosystems, particularly in quantum computing for Brazil. He is also interested in the intersection of advanced AI and entrepreneurship, having recently been invited to Y Combinators AI Startup School to explore new machine learning paradigms.
