Scott Purviance

Scott Purviance is the Chief Executive Officer of Amwins, the largest independent wholesale distributor of specialty insurance products in the U.S. He joined Amwins in 2001 as one of its first employees and previously served as CFO and COO. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and holds an accounting degree from Wake Forest University.

Outside of work, Scott is passionate about his family, traveling, and golf. He lives in Charlotte, NC, with his wife and two children. He is also actively involved in his community, serving on the Wake Forest University School of Business Board of Visitors and having previously served on the Western NC Board of the Alzheimers Association.

He has been with Amwins since 2001, playing a pivotal role in its growth from a company with $20 million in revenue to a global leader.
