Shawn Oudsema

Shawn Oudsema is a hands-on entrepreneur with over 13 years of experience in metal fabrication. As the owner of Bonfire by Design and Cutting-Edge Steelworks, he combines his expertise as a certified welder, machinist, and fabricator to create custom metal art. He holds specialized fabrication training from Bobby Isaac Motorsports.

Shawn runs his Michigan-based business, Bonfire by Design, alongside his co-owner, Maggie Oudsema. He is personally involved in every step, from building the products to answering customer emails, and is often accompanied in the shop by his dog, Basil.

Unique fact: Shawns training includes specialized courses in NASCAR-style body fabrication and assembly.
