Stephen Preefer

Stephen Preefer is a Senior Managing Director in the Restructuring group at Guggenheim Securities. His expertise lies in navigating complex financial reorganizations and providing strategic advisory services for high-stakes corporate situations. He graduated from Dartmouth College and started his investment banking career at Miller Buckfire before joining Guggenheim in 2012.

Outside of his professional work, Stephen was a competitive squash player. At Dartmouth, he was a four-year letter winner for the mens squash team, serving as captain his senior year, and was a U.S. Squash Scholar-Athlete Award Recipient in 2007.

A unique fact: He competed on the U.S. Junior Mens squash team from 2004-2006, achieving an individual 11th-place finish at the 2006 World Junior Championships.
