With over 30 years at CITGO, he has extensive experience in refinery operations, engineering, and logistics, holding various leadership positions across the company. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas.
Active in his community, Sterling supports local causes through fundraising and serves on the boards of the Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association and the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlantas Energy Advisory Council. He recently participated as a celebrity dancer in a ballroom competition to benefit a local organization.
He has worked for the same company, CITGO, his entire career, starting just two weeks after graduating from college in 1990.
