Steven George Okeng is a pioneering figure in sports development, serving as the President of both the American Football Federation of Uganda and the East Africa Confederation of American Football. He leverages his background in International Relations from Cavendish University to foster the growth of American football across the region.
Outside of his professional sports administration roles, Steven is dedicated to youth empowerment. He serves as the Chief Coordinator for the Young Diplomats of Uganda and co-founded the Center for Youth Governance And Diplomacy, focusing on nurturing future leaders. His interests include the NFL, particularly the Philadelphia Eagles.
He recently led Ugandas national team to compete in the first-ever Africa Flag Football Championship in Cairo.
