Talia Moore is an Assistant Professor of Robotics and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on comparative biomechanics and bio-inspired robotics, where she studies animal locomotion to design robots that can test biological hypotheses. She earned her PhD from Harvard University and her BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
A unique aspect of her work is the development of "The Robot of Theseus" (TROT), an open-source, modular robot made from 3D-printed parts that can be reconfigured to study evolution and movement.
