Tanya (TAN-ya) Frey, J.D.

Tanya Frey is the Founder and CEO of Terra Firma Consulting, a Black woman-owned firm in Memphis that strengthens nonprofits through executive search and organizational development. An attorney with over two decades of experience in fundraising and HR, she specializes in leadership transitions and building high-performing, mission-aligned teams. People who have worked with her describe her as knowledgeable, energetic, and a true partner.

Outside of her professional life, Tanya is a mom and a self-described "Long-Suffering Razorback Fan," an interest tied to her alma mater, the University of Arkansas. She is also actively involved in her community, supporting local arts and culture.

She once humorously answered a question about her business challenges by stating, "Im real good at getting in everybodys sh*t. Just ask my kids."
