Tara Beams, Ed.D.
Commander · DISC type DTara Beams, Ed. D. , is the Superintendent of the Henry Hudson Regional Tri-District, where she recently led the first New Jersey school district merger in a decade. A transformational leader with over 15 years of experience and a Doctorate in Education, she is a published author on blended learning strategies.
Outside of her district work, Tara is a passionate advocate for special needs education. She has been a key driver for over seven years on the board of the Monmouth-Ocean Foundation for Children, helping launch the Achieve Academy for Adults with Autism. Her background also includes teaching media literacy at Monmouth University.
Interesting fact: She was an instrumental, long-term advocate in the creation of a new continuing education academy for adults with autism.
