Tim Steiner is a co-founder of Ocado and has served as its Chief Executive Officer since its inception in 2000. A former bond trader for Goldman Sachs, he identified the potential for an online-only grocery retailer, transforming the company into a global technology leader. He holds a degree in economics, finance, and accountancy from Manchester University.

Outside of his corporate responsibilities, Tim is known for his passion for high-adrenaline sports. He is an avid and accomplished kitesurfer and also enjoys skiing, using these activities to balance the demands of leading a major public company.

He launched the business with two former colleagues from Goldman Sachs, originally under the name L.M. Solutions.
