Alban Cobi

Alban is an MIT-educated Mechanical Engineer at Gener8, describing himself as an engineer by training and a designer at heart. He focuses on solving complex problems in controls, fluid mechanics, and machine design using first principles. People who have worked with him describe him as outstanding, skilled, resourceful, and humble.

Outside of work, Alban is passionate about teaching and mentoring, with extensive experience as a TA at MIT and as a mentor for a FIRST Robotics team. He believes in experiential learning and making educational resources freely accessible. His engineering journey began with starting a robotics team in high school.

He has a diverse portfolio of hands-on projects, including building a DIY Segway, co-designing a dress for a fundraiser, and welding a custom bicycle with a side-car.
