Alison Levine is a history-making adventurer, leadership expert, and New York Times bestselling author. Drawing from her experience as the team captain for the first American Womens Everest Expedition and completing the Adventure Grand Slam, she translates extreme challenges into leadership lessons. She holds an MBA from Duke University and serves on the faculty at Thayer Leadership.
Outside of her professional speaking and academic roles, Alison is a polar explorer and mountaineer who has climbed the highest peak on every continent. She founded the Climb High Foundation, a non-profit that trains jobless women in Uganda to work as trekking guides, empowering them to earn a sustainable living wage.
She is one of fewer than forty people in the world to have completed the Adventure Grand Slam by climbing the highest peak on each continent and skiing to both the North and South Poles.
