D. from Technische Universität Graz, he is an expert in powertrain control systems, with a current focus on leveraging AI and Software Defined Vehicles to accelerate automotive development.
Outside of his primary role, Alois is an active participant in the broader European automotive research community. He serves as the Treasurer and a board member for the European Automotive Research Partners Association (EARPA), contributing to shaping industry-wide R&D collaboration.
An interesting fact: Since his early days as a young engineer, he has been driven by the singular vision of creating a truly self-learning Engine Control Unit (ECU).
