Apurva Purohit

Apurva Purohit is a veteran business leader with over three decades of experience scaling major media organizations like Radio City and now channels her expertise into social entrepreneurship. As Co-Founder of Aazol, she empowers rural women by creating a marketplace for traditional foods. She also serves as an Independent Director for several prominent companies.

An IIM Bangalore alumna, Apurva is a bestselling author of two books focused on womens leadership and a staunch advocate for gender diversity in the workplace. Outside of her corporate and entrepreneurial pursuits, she is a former state-level hockey player for Tamil Nadu and emphasizes carving out time for reflection and personal recharging.

After a successful corporate career, she co-founded Aazol with her son, driven by a desire to reduce inequality and create financial independence for women in rural communities.
