Benoît DE BRUYN

Benoît is the Founder and CEO of Newtree Impact, an investment firm dedicated to combating climate change through the agrifood revolution. He combines his background as a Bio-chemical Engineer from Université catholique de Louvain and a management graduate from Solvay with extensive experience in M&A and environmental engineering.

A passionate nature enthusiast since childhood, Benoît grew up birdwatching and assisting with wildlife conservation efforts. His entrepreneurial career later took him and his family, including his wife and four children, to San Francisco, demonstrating his commitment to pursuing his ventures on an international scale.

Interesting fact: His dedication to nature began at age 6, waking up early on Saturdays for birdwatching and later helping the Natural History Museum with bat censuses.
