Brian Gase

As VP of Engineering Quality, Brian Gase is one of Rivians earliest and most tenured employees, with badge number four. He has been instrumental in shaping the companys vehicles for over 15 years, leading everything from body engineering and validation to special projects. He holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Michigan.

Brian is a dedicated runner, having completed the NYC marathon to raise funds for the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust, an organization Rivian partners with. He is passionate about adventure, teamwork, and enjoys being hands-on with projects, from off-road trips to building custom vehicles like electric ice cream trucks for Ben & Jerrys.

Unique fact: He was Rivians fourth employee and after his initial job interview, he thought the founders were "crazy" for believing they could achieve their vision, which is exactly what convinced him to join.
