Brian Pratt is the Chief of University Planning, Design and Construction at the University of Toronto. Previously, as Campus Architect at UC Irvine, he led transformative projects including multiple LEED Platinum facilities and the nations first all-electric hospital. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Family is a significant source of inspiration for Brian; he found it particularly gratifying to work on a medical building that housed an autism clinic, as his oldest daughter is autistic. He is passionate about creating a campus environment that embraces student values and enhances their well-being.
He spearheaded the design and construction of the first all-electric, zero-emission hospital in the United States while at the University of California, Irvine.
