Bruce is a co-founder of the PostgreSQL Global Development Group and has worked on the database since 1996. As VP, Postgres Evangelist at EDB, he is a leading voice in the open-source community. He holds a Master of Education from Arcadia University and a BA from Columbia University.
Outside of technology, his main hobby is sightseeing, often combined with the 90 days a year he travels for conferences. He has a keen interest in trains, Japanese TV, and studying overlooked historical events. Based in Philadelphia, he is a father to four children.
