Carrie is a freelance writer and facilitator with over a decade of experience in communications, volunteer management, and program planning. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with both a B. A. and M. P. A. , she specializes in strategic messaging and workshop facilitation, particularly within the nonprofit and political sectors.
Deeply committed to social justice, Carrie has dedicated much of her life to advocating for womens and LGBTQ+ rights. She has volunteered extensively with organizations like NARAL Pro-Choice Texas and Equality Texas and was a founding board member of the Gender and Sexuality Center at UT Austin.
She was the founding executive director of the Womens Community Center of Central Texas.
