Catherine Manson

Catherine is a legally qualified Director at the ACCC, where she leads Regulatory Guidance for the Consumer Data Right. Her career spans legal, policy, and compliance roles across federal and state government. She holds degrees from the University of Technology Sydney and The Australian National University.

Outside of her government roles, Catherine is a parent who has publicly shared her personal experiences with the financial strain and difficulty of securing childcare. Her interests include public broadcasting and developments in the financial services sector.

She actively uses her professional platform to gather public feedback for ACCC inquiries on topics ranging from data regulation to childcare services.
