Cathy Munro

She also serves as the Farm Social Enterprise Manager at Summer Street Farm, focusing on creating meaningful employment. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Manitoba and previously worked in fisheries science.
Outside of her professional life, Cathy identifies as an endurance athlete, participating in CrossFit competitions. Her other interests are diverse and include organic living, self-sufficiency, and breeding CKC registered Labrador Retrievers. She is passionate about healthy eating as a form of self-care and connecting community through local food.
Cathy developed an innovative "grow your own" microgarden kit that led her to pitch on the television show Dragons Den.
